Free Excel to PDF Converter

Turn .xlsx workbooks into shareable PDFs without installing Excel or uploading files to a server. Ideal for sending reports, invoices, and data tables that recipients can open anywhere.

Why Convert Excel to PDF?

PDF locks the visible values for sharing and printing. Recipients do not need Excel, and layout stays consistent across devices. Use this when you need a readable snapshot of your sheets — not an editable spreadsheet.

Common Use Cases

  • Financial reports: Share monthly summaries without exposing formulas
  • Invoices and quotes: Send a fixed PDF copy to clients
  • Data handoffs: Attach table snapshots to email or tickets
  • Print packs: Landscape PDFs of wide sheets for meetings

How to Convert Excel to PDF

  1. Upload: Drag and drop your .xlsx workbook (or click to browse).
  2. Select sheets: Choose which worksheets to include in the PDF.
  3. Choose layout: Pick A4/Letter, portrait or landscape, and quality.
  4. Convert: Click Download PDF — processing stays in your browser.
  5. Share: Use Compress PDF if you need a smaller attachment.

Features

  • Private by design: conversion happens locally in your browser
  • Sheet picker: include all sheets or only the ones you need
  • Page controls: A4 or Letter, portrait or landscape, standard or high quality
  • Preview before download: review the table layout first

What This Tool Does Not Do

We prefer honest copy over fake promises. This browser converter focuses on cell text and basic table layout.

  • No charts or images: visual objects are skipped
  • No macros or VBA: executable content is ignored
  • No pivot caches / rich styles: colors, merges, and conditional formatting are simplified or omitted
  • No legacy .xls: re-save as .xlsx first
  • Very large sheets: may be slow or truncated for safety — split or filter first

Tips for Best Results

  • Use landscape for wide tables with many columns
  • Hide or delete unused columns/rows before exporting
  • Ensure formulas have been calculated so cached values exist
  • After conversion, use Compress PDF for email size limits

Frequently Asked Questions About Word to PDF Conversion

Will charts and graphs be included?
No. This converter renders cell values as HTML tables. Charts, drawings, and embedded images are not included. For a full visual export, use Excel’s built-in Save as PDF or print-to-PDF.
Can I convert multiple sheets?
Yes. After upload you can select which sheets to include. Each selected sheet becomes one or more PDF pages.
What about formulas?
Cached calculated values stored in the .xlsx are shown when available. The underlying formulas themselves are not exported.
Do you support .xls (legacy Excel)?
Not currently. Please open the file in Excel or Google Sheets and save/export as .xlsx, then convert.
Is my spreadsheet uploaded to a server?
No. Parsing and PDF creation run entirely in your browser with JSZip, html2canvas, and jsPDF.
